Apostate Verity combat is easier to learn when you treat defense as the default action and attacks as short punish windows.
Read inputs first
Before boss practice, make sure movement, dodge, block, attack, and recovery inputs feel stable. Bad key comfort makes every encounter look harder than it is.
Fight in short cycles
Watch the enemy, defend the pattern, punish once or twice, then reset. If stamina gets low, stop attacking and recover position.

Open Tree Boss notes only after a few attempts. The page is most useful when you already recognize some patterns and need timing help.
